Stunning habotai silk scarf in William Morris's St James's design in vibrant shades of blue.

In 1880 Morris was asked to redecorate rooms at London's St. James's Palace, a job for which he created a special wallpaper: 'St. James's'. A lavish pattern of scrolling foliage, it required 68 separate printing blocks to create the wallpaper.

Printed silk, hand rolled hems. Made by Fox and Chave.

Dimensions of the scarf: 150 cm x 35 cm
