Each piece has been cut from beautiful mouth blown glass, made by one of the last remaining sheet glass makers in Europe. The detail is painted on by hand and then fired in the kiln to permanently fuse it to the surface of the glass. Then colour is added with vitreous enamels, followed by silver stain, and fired in the kiln again each time. Finally a lead border is added to frame the glass.
