Oven glove in William Morris's Eyebright design.
Eyebright was first produced in 1883. The fabric was printed using a technique called the indigo discharge method which Morris perfected at his works at Merton Abbey Mills in Merton, South London.
The image is licensed from The William Morris Society's collection, and the oven glove is printed and manufactured in the UK by Laura's Beau.

Measurements: 84 cm long by 20 cm wide.
The oven gloves contain 10oz needlepoly wadding which has been sewn with a diamond quilting. The back of the hands are protected with a 2oz coravin covered backhand. The oven glove conforms to British Standard.
The oven glove edge is bound with a matching binding.
Machine washable at 40 degrees.
